After months, no wait…YEARS of procrastinating about starting a more dedicated blog, here I am. So as I learn the in’s and out’s of how to be a blogging guru, stay tuned for my vignette’s of marketing perils we all encounter and hurdle over.
Mayhem Method is an offspring of my business identity ‘Mayhem Marketing.” An odd name many of my business associates laughed at! “Jesus KB! Have you lost your freggin mind? Mayhem denotes negativity!” remarked good friend Amy, whom notably was the international marketing director for the Kohler Company – now a full time mommy. “Mayhem” to me, hits a direct punch to my targets.
Twenty some years in the ad/ sales and marketing business (mostly in radio), if there is one thing I learned it is that many business have mayhem in their marketing efforts.

Sadly most business owners or title heads I meet with have much mayhem. To many open doors that invite fancy suit ad sales reps with big five dollar words. You are not alone if you bought your marketing message delivery strategy this way.

About two years ago I got a wild hair up my rear end. As I sat in my little office conjuring up radio promotions for my employer (at the time I was marketing and promotions title head for Midwest Communications), I watched as my bigger title headed superiors jumped into much shiny cars then mine. It hit me, why am I making these people rich? Not long after I said so long to corporate rat hole life and traded in my corner office for a cozy home office.
